Shopping Sunday! New tracks in my library!

So I do buy all of my music, which seems to be a rarity these days. The exception is when artists give away their music on Soundcloud. Then I eat that free music up like it's my birthday cake. But anyway, I went shopping on Beatport, and I got a LOT of new music. I figured I'd share with you guys the new items in my tracks I'm listening to. More after the jump!

Alright, so first off I got SLVR, the Metropolis Remixed album, and East Sleep Rave Repeat from Fatboy Slim. I covered the Calvin Harris remix to ESRR in my last post, and the other two in prior posts, so go look at those.

The first track I've been meaning to add to my library for a while, and I figure I would do it now. It's The 808 Track from Bassnectar, and it takes a lot of the sounds that made trap popular and makes into a hard hitting dubstep song. You can get the 808 song here.

The next track is Higher from Baauer and Just Blaze. They made a really cool video and got Jay-Z to do the vocals. Of course I'll eat up anything from Baauer, so I got this song. You can buy it here.

So often, my timing of new music will coincide with a really good set I've heard in which I hear a lot of good tracks. These next three tracks are all from sets I heard at TommorrowLand. The first is a silly track between Doctor P and Dillon Francis which combines the hard style of Doctor P and the silliness of Dillon Francis. There's a link to the Beatport buy page in the soundcloud link.

This next track Chuckie played at TommorowLand. Adagio for Strings is one of my all time favorite tracks, so anytime someone makes a good remix, I eat it up. Blasterjaxx does a great job with his remixes, and this one is no exception. He takes a classic, and revamps it to fit today's sound and synths, and it sounds amazing. Link to the Beatport page is in the Youtube description.

Bird Machine is another track I've been meaning to get my hand on for the longest time. I always love animal samples in my songs, and the birds feel right at home here. There's a link to nearly every music vendor in the soundcloud description.

Crookers broke up a few months ago, and I loved their sassy electro feel. Crookers at Exit festival 2010 remains one of my favorite sets. This is one of the last things that they produced as a duo, and it's one of my favorite tracks on <insert album title here>, so I had to get it. Link to iTunes and Beatport in the description.

Mat Zo, as I mentioned in a previous post, I had the pleasure of seeing live with The M Machine and Porter Robinson. This new track was one of the first tracks in his MiniMag set, which you should definitely check out, as it's a really diverse set. I love Mat Zo's sound, and he shows off his sound in this track. Links to both iTunes and Beatport in the soundcloud description.

A new release from Grandtheft, it's very dark sounding, but a very catching melody. Link to Beatport in the soundcloud description.

My last new song is a collab between Chris Lake and Steve Aoki and Tujamo, the wonderful person behind Who, one of my all-time favorite bangers. Despite the recent scandal with Aoki and his software, I still adore the man for the antics he puts on when he performs. He doesn't just make it a DJ performance, he makes it an entertainment showing (see Ultra 2012 when he pegs a girl in the face with a cake). Well needless to say, this new song has a lot of energy, and I'll probably be hearing it at Tommorow World. It's a Beatport exclusive at the moment, so no reliable preview for you, but you can buy it here.

So that's all the new music I have right now. Let me know what you're listening to!
